As Ricky languished in his hospital bed thinking, Why’s it always me? David never gets sick, mist began to seep into his room. Then a man in a white cloak entered. More tests? He wondered.But the man said, “No. No more tests.”

He offered Ricky his hand and beckoned for him to follow. But, when Ricky pursued his nurse instead, he became lost in the mist and alone in a strange new world full of unfamiliar creatures.

During his struggles to return home, Ricky learned of a bridge that swayed low over the water. It was there, he was told, to cross over. Sounded easy enough until he also learned a fearsome wutherbeast guarded it. How would he ever win?
